Discovery Time

We had our second Discovery Time last Friday. We had more exciting creations from the wood work table. It was inside this week because of the weather and the banging was a bit loud but we didn't mind. Everyone had a go at flipping pikelets - most of them landed in the pan! They were warm and yummy- with or without jam. Callum even made more at home over the wet weekend. Way to go, Chef Callum. We are on the lookout for some easy (and cheap!) recipes. Let us know if you can think of any.

It sounds like you have heaps of fun during Discovery Time and some very good cooks as well. The wood work table would be interesting. Perhaps a pair of ear muffs may have helped with all the banging. Isn't it good to see the sunshine - at last. Hope you all have an enjoyable long weekend this week.

Hi Room 3,
Your pikelets sound very yummy! It's making us hungry reading about them. We like jam and syrup on our pikelets. We are glad to see the blue sky with the sun shining. Hopefully you'll be able to have your woodwork table back outside this week. Discovery time is very exciting.
